FAQ & Guides

Why can't I connect my WII to my router?

Connecting a Nintendo WII to your router

This is most likely due to :

  1. incorrect mode settings
  2. incorrect keyphrase

The old WII and WII-U support all security types, however the WII only supports b/g mode routers, it does not support n mode.
Login to your router (or have us do it) and switch your mode to b/g mixed, channel width: 20mhz, reboot the router, clear your network settings in the WII and try again after the router reboots.
